Genoa is a lively city under constant transformation: the ideal place to encounter urban installations by GreenGraffiti.
In this particularly lively and dynamic context, the advertising scene has unfortunately remained anchored to dated and obsolete solutions that struggle to reach the citizens and tourists that inhabit this renewed Genoa.
The urban configuration – full of narrow streets and intricate pathways – certainly makes it more complicated for traditional OOH media (such as billboards and posters) to reach the pedestrian areas in the center and old port. However, this limit is not unsurmountable, and this has been proven by the approach of GreenGraffiti.
In fact, since 2019, GreenGraffiti has activated a direct channel with the Municipal Government for the creation of advertising campaigns on the sidewalks of Genoa, to promote events in the city itself and surrounding territory: this collaboration has allowed our graffiti to become the best way to reach all of the areas and neighborhoods that would have been impossible to cover using ordinary offline communication tools.
However there are other factors – besides breaking free from traditional media – that makes GreenGraffiti the perfect media solution for this city: the intrinsically urban core of the medium and its strong ties to street art make our sustainable messages blend perfectly into the urban context – a visual pairing that appears natural and utterly unobtrusive.
